The Job: Bookkeeper

• full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, reconciling accounts, staff expenses, preliminary close and analysis; 

• preparation of client payroll;

• preparation of government filings; 

• periodic onsite assistance to clients for on-boarding and migration to digital documentation processes 

• data migration support: including cleaning data, gathering documents, testing

• ad-hoc research and administration assistance

• periodic travel during implementations.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience. 

• IPBC or higher designation.

• Solid understanding of Canadian GAAP

• Experience with Xero, QBO, and QuickBooks Desktop

• Proficient with spreadsheets and technology in general

• Clean criminal record

• Legally able to work in Canada
